Flatbed CDL Truck Driver – Kapco Grafton, WI

If you are driven to succeed with a passion for the professional growth and development of others, our employee-focused company may have the right opportunity for you. Kapco Inc. is looking for a Flatbed CDL Truck Driver on 1st shift at our Grafton, WI facility.  This is an over-the-road (OTR) position with consistent weekly routes (Mon-Fri) and home most weekends. If you are safety-focused, dependable, and take pride in delivering materials efficiently, this could be a great fit.

 Primary Responsibilities

    • Operate a Class A CDL truck with a 53-ft flatbed trailer on highways and regional routes

    • Transport materials such as steel coils, sheet stock, and dies

    • Safely load, unload, secure, and tarp flatbed loads

    • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and trailer

    • Maintain accurate electronic logs and required shipping documentation

    • Follow DOT regulations and company safety standards at all times

    • Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, or safety concerns

    • Other duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications:

    • Class A CDL License
    • Strong driving record (safety is a top priority)
    • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
    • Willingness to travel overnight during the week

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of CDL driving experience
    • Previous flatbed experience – training available for the right candidate
