Delivery Service Driver (Non-CDL Class C or CDL A/B)

Location: Dallas, TX
Job Type: Full-Time (40+ Hours/Week)

Commercial driving experience is required. Your resume or application must clearly demonstrate your commercial driving experience. Applications that do not demonstrate the required driving experience will be automatically rejected.

Job Summary

Brothers Food Service is seeking dependable, customer-focused Delivery Service Drivers to join our growing Transportation team. We are hiring drivers with a valid Texas Class C (Non-CDL), CDL Class B, or CDL Class A Driver License.

Whether you're delivering with a non-CDL vehicle or a commercial motor vehicle, you'll play a critical role in safely delivering fresh produce and specialty food products while providing exceptional customer service and representing Brothers Food Service professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate assigned company delivery vehicles.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Deliver products accurately and on schedule.
  • Load and unload products safely.
  • Rotate merchandise using FIFO inventory practices when required.
  • Verify deliveries and obtain customer signatures.
  • Complete delivery paperwork using handheld devices.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
  • Follow all applicable company safety policies and federal, state, and DOT regulations applicable to your assigned vehicle.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid Texas Class C (Non-CDL), CDL Class B, or CDL Class A Driver License.
  • Minimum three years of commercial driving experience.
  • Clean driving record that meets company standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, road test, and MVR review.
  • Applicants applying for CDL positions must possess a current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Foodservice, produce, grocery, wholesale distribution, or route delivery experience.
  • Experience merchandising and rotating inventory (FIFO).
  • Experience operating pallet jacks and hand trucks.
  • Experience using handheld delivery devices or electronic proof-of-delivery (ePOD) systems.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
