This role is all about creating a welcoming, worry-free experience by greeting, assisting, and safely transporting guests to and from the casino and other designated locations. Along the way, you'll share resort highlights, answer questions, and ensure every ride feels like part of the entertainment.

What You Bring To The Table
  • Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.
  • Safely transport guests to and from the casino and other designated locations while providing a friendly, welcoming experience.
  • Complete pre- and post-trip inspections of the shuttle and promptly report any concerns to your supervisor.
  • Keep the shuttle fueled up and ready to roll at all times.
  • Track and record the number of guests transported during your shift.
  • Stay in the know on casino promotions, dining specials, and resort events, and share them with guests in orally and in writing in an upbeat and informative way.
  • Provide directions and answer guest questions with professionalism, enthusiasm, and local knowledge.
  • Lend a hand with luggage or belongings, making sure guests feel well cared for.
  • Assist guests safely on and off the shuttle with a helpful attitude.
  • Maintain the shuttle's interior and exterior so it's always clean, comfortable, and guest-ready.
  • Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned)
Must-Haves, Nice-To-Haves, And Maybe Some Bonus Points
  • Friendly and approachable attitude that helps guests (and the team) feel welcome and cared for every day.
  • HS Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Six (6) months of prior experience working in a hospitality related position required; this can include volunteer work. Transportation experience helpful.
  • Must have a valid Oregon Driver's license with a minimum of five (5) years of licensed driving experience with an acceptable record and the ability to be insured through Ko-Kwel Casino Resort's insurance program.
  • Proven track record of excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must pass and remain in compliance with any drug testing practices as a matter of safety; this includes testing negative for cannabis/THC.
  • Comfortable communicating clearly and positively with both guests and teammates
