Job Description
  • Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure safety and security
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems
  • Control access to buildings by checking identification and issuing visitor badges
  • Observe and report suspicious activities or security breaches
  • Respond to emergencies such as medical incidents, fire alarms, or disturbances
  • Write detailed daily activity and incident reports
  • Enforce company policies, rules, and regulations
  • Provide assistance and directions to visitors and staff
  • Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary
  • May work indoors or outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • May require long periods of standing or walking

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Valid security guard license (as required by state/local law)
  • Previous security experience preferred but not always required
