Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Used Car Salesperson role based in Plantation, FL. The Used Car Salesperson will greet and engage customers, assess their needs, and guide them through vehicle selection, test drives, pricing discussions, and closing the sale. Responsibilities include maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the inventory, presenting vehicles accurately, explaining financing and warranty options in clear terms, and preparing basic sales documentation. The role also involves following up with leads, supporting customer retention through post-sale communication, and contributing to a clean, organized lot and showroom. The Used Car Salesperson will collaborate with management and other team members to meet sales goals while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer-focused mindset with skills in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Retention.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities for engaging diverse customers and working with team members.
  • Experience or strong interest in Automotive Sales, including understanding vehicle features and benefits.
  • Basic math and financial literacy to discuss pricing, payments, and financing options clearly.
  • Ability to work on-site full time, including evenings or weekends as needed.
  • Proven reliability, integrity, and professionalism in a customer-facing environment.
  • Comfort using phones, email, and dealership software or CRM tools for lead follow-up and record-keeping.
  • Previous retail, sales, or automotive experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and be trained is essential.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
