What is a weekend busser?

Weekend bussers are restaurant staff responsible for clearing tables, resetting them for new guests, and assisting servers during weekends, which are typically busy periods. Their main duties include removing dirty dishes, wiping down tables and chairs, refilling water glasses, and sometimes helping with basic cleaning tasks. Weekend Bussers often encounter high guest volumes and fast-paced environments, especially during meal rushes. The main challenges include clearing tables quickly, resetting them efficiently, and coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service. To handle these demands, it's important to stay organized, communicate clearly with team members, and remain calm under pressure. Developing good time management and multitasking skills will help you maintain a clean dining area and support the overall guest experience.
