School Bus Driver Needed: Full -Time or Part-Time

Trinity Catholic High School in Ocala, home of the Celtics, has an opening for a bus driver for the 2022 - 23 school year. Driver will pick up and drop off students along an established route. Also includes field trips and athletic events.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This job class is responsible for the safe operation of a school bus and for ensuing the safety of student passengers while meeting established bus schedules.
  • Drives a school transportation vehicle within a prescribe routes(s) in accordance with time schedule; picking up and discharging students at designated stops. 
  • Transport students and teachers on filed trips to various locations; planning necessary route(s) and stops as needed. 
  • Conduct safety and operational inspection of assigned vehicle daily. 
  • Services buses with gas, diesel fuel, and oil checks and when necessary fills tires and batteries. 
  • Maintains cleanliness of vehicle to ensure operating condition. 
  • Attends driver training programs to maintain current knowledge of Motor Vehicle Code and the Education Code as it applies to the operation of vehicles. 
  • Washes bus as needed. 
  • Performs related duties required.  

Requirements

  • Must have valid CDL with a P and S endorsement and a safe driving record. 
  • Experience preferred.
