Job description
Reno Staffing is looking for a Parking Lot Sweeper Vehicle Operator for a Commercial Parking Lot Sweeping Company in the Reno/Sparks area!
Looking for a part time graveyard position? This position is part time! This position is Temp to hire.
Shift: 3-4 days/week 10pm-2am
Pay: $20/hr
Location: Sparks/Reno/Carson area!
Summary:
The Parking Lot Sweeper Operator is responsible for safely operating company sweeping equipment, completing assigned commercial routes, maintaining cleaning quality, caring for company vehicles and equipment, and representing the client company professionally at customer properties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned.
· Sweep parking lots, drive aisles, curb lines, entrances, loading areas, islands, and other designated areas.
· Use a backpack blower, broom, shovel, or other approved tools for detail work.
· Pick up litter or loose debris when required by the assigned service.
· Complete assigned routes according to the schedule and customer-specific instructions.
· Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
· Check fuel, fluids, tires, lights, brakes, hoses, brooms, belts, and other applicable equipment.
· Keep the truck and sweeping equipment clean and report mechanical problems immediately.
· Safely dispose of collected debris at designated locations.
· Report accidents, property damage, hazards, customer complaints, access problems, and unusual conditions.
· Maintain accurate route/service records and accurately report all hours worked.
· Treat customer property, vehicles, landscaping, buildings, and equipment with care.
Have clean driving record!
At the discretion of your lead or supervisor, you could be required to perform additional job related activities not specifically outlined above.
Competency:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Have excellent self and time management skills.
- Work late night hours.
- Ability to climb on and out of large company vehicle numerous times of day.
- be able to lift, pull or push 30-50 lbs.
- Able to follow precise and execute precise instructions
- Ability to follow service schedule and communicate any issues with management.
- Be professional and respectful with customers, security, property staff, and the public.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
A resume/work history and/or interview are required to be considered for this position!
A drug test will be required after interview. Will be tested for THC.
