Description:


Billboard Installer installs vinyl billboard advertisements, posters, and bulletins, as well as performs maintenance as required to the physical structure of the billboard and surrounding property. In addition, performs work on all Digital Assets (digital billboards) as required.

Essential Job Functions and Tasks- These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.

  • The ability to climb without restrictions fixed, portable and/or extension ladders to heights up to 125 feet multiple times daily.
  • The ability to work from elevated platforms up to 125 feet in height for up to 70% of the workday.
  • Must be able to lift weights up to 100 lbs. without restrictions or limitations through demonstrated safe lifting practices.
  • Travel required: Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana
  • Working knowledge of or ability to learn the proper use of an oxygen/acetylene torch.
  • Working knowledge of or ability to learn the proper use of an AC/DC welder.
  • Must be able to safely operate or learn to operate gas-powered equipment, such as lawnmowers, chain saws, generators, compressors, paint sprayers, etc.
  • Utilize all safety-related equipment without exception as mandated by Lindmark Outdoor Media operating procedures.
  • Understanding and possession of basic mathematics skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing.
  • Must have a full range of motion to install and maintain posters and bulletin signage.
  • Meet maximum weight restrictions of 265 pounds due to manufacturer requirements on safety-related equipment used to work in an elevated work environment.
  • The ability to work in all weather conditions when necessary.
  • Performs similar or related duties as required or assigned.

Work Environment

This work environment is mostly outdoors in all weather conditions.

Physical Demands

Physical Exertion: The incumbent may frequently be required to lift approximately 100 pounds without restrictions or limitations.

Vision: The incumbent must possess close, midrange, distance, and peripheral vision; as well as the ability to identify colors, judge distances and adjust focus.

Speaking/Hearing: The incumbent must be able to give and receive information through speaking and listening.

Motor Coordination: The incumbent in this position is frequently required to: use their hands and reach with their hands and arms. The incumbent is periodically required to: sit. The incumbent is occasionally required to: stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, crouch or bend.

Requirements:

Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

Light construction experience preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.

Monday – Friday, some weekends

Out of town per diem $35/day and hotel paid

Medical insurance and Paid Time Off after 60 days
