Job description

Work in the mountains and join our fun team! Silver Fork Lodge & Restaurant is hiring a Host/Bartender now! If you work a winter job or just want to pick up an extra shifts, this is a great opportunity to get a taste of bartending!


The position is part time. Weekend and evening availability is important. But apply today so you don't miss out! Bartending experience is necessary and you must have a good attitude and willingness to learn and work hard! Weekends and holiday availability is preferred since those are our busiest time periods. (Exact shift hours may vary based on season and business needs.)!


The successful candidate will have some experience in a host and/or bartending position and some hotel front desk experience is a plus! Must be available days, weekends and holidays. Exact shift hours will vary based on season and business needs. The hosting/bartending position pays $15/hour plus bar tips and tip out from servers. You must be 21 years of age to perform this job.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Greet and seat people as they are walking in the door. If you are in the middle of making a drink, great them and let them know you will be right with them.
  • Make a lattes, hot chocolate, cappuccino, other specialty drinks and alcoholic beverages.
  • Adhere to Utah Alcoholic Beverage Control guidelines such as properly pouring alcohol, checking ID's, etc.
  • Stock the bar before and after shift with milk, alcohol, syrups, etc.
  • Polish wine glasses.
  • Make hot chocolate mix, hot cider mix, margarita mix, and bloody Mary mix.
  • Answer phones, basic questions, and/or direct questions to the right team member.
  • Assist in lodging reservations, check-in's and check-out's.
  • Ensure preparation and presentation maintain quality, safety, and restaurant standards.
  • Keep station cleaned throughout shift, maintain sanitizer bucket, participate in deep cleaning areas as needed, and clean station and remove trash at end of shift.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
