Job description

We are seeking a motivated Aircraft Mechanic to provide safe and efficient maintenance on the aircraft used by Smith Douglas Homes.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform aircraft inspections, scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections.
  • Maintain accurate and organized maintenance records.
  • Assist pilots with aircraft dispatch and operational support.
  • Move, pack, and unpack aircraft within the hangar as needed.
  • Support day-to-day hangar operations and upkeep.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.


Qualifications:

  • FAA A&P Certificate with Inspection Authorization is required.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive, self-motivated attitude with a willingness to get the job done.


Schedule is generally Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required to complete maintenance projects and support flight operations. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse fleet within a professional private aviation operation with room for growth and advancement.
