WHAT IS THE JOB?

We are looking for experienced and energetic Barbacks to join us on our mission to turn the ordinary into extraordinary. To be successful in this role, you will be responsible for the following on a daily basis:

  • Providing an amazing experience to our guests from introduction to departure.
  • Guiding guests through menu selections while demonstrating thorough knowledge of the food, beverages and ingredients.
  • Taking accurate orders and partnering with runners to serve food and beverages that exceed guests' expectations.
  • Providing energetic and attentive service that makes guests feel well taken care of, guaranteeing future visits.
  • Anticipating guests' needs by refilling waters and pre-bussing tables throughout the venue.
  • Assisting with opening and closing duties, ensuring the bar area maintains a level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Checking taps and appliances to confirm that they are working properly, making minor adjustments, and/or changing out kegs.
  • Ensuring bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, beer, glassware, garnishments, etc.
  • Assisting in tasks to ensure a clean and safe atmosphere for bar staff.
  • Coordinating with bar staff and managers to ensure efficient service to guests.
  • Handling emergency situations, such as cleaning up and disposing of broken glass and clearing clogged drains.
  • Ensuring compliance with all Company policies and laws, including health and safety standards.
  • Having excellent organizational skills.
  • Having great communication skills with a positive attitude.
  • Bringing new and creative ideas to how we do things.
  • Being fun, enthusiastic and having lots of energy.
  • Being able to work as part of a team, delivering consistent food product with an attention to detail, even when under pressure.
