What are weekend babysitting jobs?

Weekend babysitting jobs entail providing part-time childcare to a family, usually from Saturday-Sunday but sometimes including Friday evenings. As a weekend babysitter, your duties include monitoring one or more children, planning activities, engaging in play, and ensuring the safety of children you watch. Other responsibilities include preparing meals, managing household duties such as laundry and cleaning, transporting children to the park, a class, or a party, and keeping in contact with the parents while they are away.
