About the Family

A warm, active private family located in Alexandria, Virginia is seeking an experienced, energetic Weekend Nanny to support their household. The family values hands-on, screen-free childcare and enjoys an outdoor, physically active lifestyle. They are looking for a professional nanny who can confidently manage young children, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and provide attentive, engaging care. You will have care of the toddlers on Sat and Sun. On Monday you will have care of only the infant.

Children: Two children, ages 5 and 3, 3 month old(must also be experienced with infants)
Home: Multi-level townhouse in a walkable neighborhood


Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive, high-energy childcare for two young children in a safe and nurturing environment

  • Confidently care for infants, drawing on prior hands-on experience

  • Engage children in creative, imaginative, and educational play without screen time

  • Plan and participate in outdoor activities, including walks, park outings, and sports

  • Push and maneuver a childrens wagon during neighborhood walks and activities

  • Actively participate in physical play, including running, playing tag, and age-appropriate sports

  • Safely navigate stairs within the familys townhouse

  • Supervise and participate in swimming activities (pool time and boating during summer months)

  • Ride an e-bike to transport children to nearby parks and activities
