If your background includes Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID, AWS, email migrations, Microsoft Intune, Windows Server, Hyper-V, and Linux, this opportunity puts those skills to work.

You’ll help design, configure, and maintain a reliable enterprise environment while supporting implementations, upgrades, and daily operations. This role offers hands-on variety across physical, virtual, cloud, and hosted infrastructure, with opportunities to collaborate closely with IT teams and take ownership of technical challenges.

What You’ll Do

  • Build, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux systems to support business needs and maintain high availability.

  • Support cloud infrastructure and identity services, including Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID and AWS.

  • Support email migrations, helping ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption to users.

  • Manage devices, hardware inventory, application deployment, and patching using Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and supporting tools.

  • Support virtual server environments using Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware ESXi.

  • Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and access throughout the employee life cycle.

  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues using your understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.

  • Assist with Palo Alto networking equipment, Aruba switches, and legacy Cisco switches under the direction of the Senior Network Engineer.

  • Provide Tier 2 technical support and collaborate with IT colleagues and data owners on implementations and upgrades.

  • Monitor system health, backups, security updates, and patches while maintaining clear technical documentation.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years of systems administration or engineering experience supporting Windows and Linux environments; 4+ years preferred.

  • Knowledge of Active Directory and Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID, along with experience supporting AWS environments.

  • Experience with email migrations.

  • Hands-on Microsoft Intune experience, including mobile device management, Autopilot, software packaging, and deployment.

  • Experience administering Windows Server and Linux systems.

  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies, particularly Hyper-V and VMware ESXi.

  • A solid understanding of basic networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.

  • Experience supporting Fibre Channel and iSCSI SAN hardware.

  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux backup solutions, such as Commvault or Druva.

  • Knowledge of change control, ITIL, SDLC, and documentation practices.

  • Familiarity with authentication and access security tools such as RSA, Duo, and Microsoft Entra Conditional Access.

  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills, with a commitment to owning issues through resolution.

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Network, operating system, and software certifications are a plus.

  • macOS administration experience is desirable.

  • Flexibility for travel, occasional weekend work, and after-hours support escalations.
