Job description

Job Title:

Azure DevOps Architect

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, architect, and implement scalable Azure DevOps solutions across CI/CD pipelines, repos, and release strategies
- Lead end-to-end DevOps architecture for build/release automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and deployment orchestration
- Define governance, security, and best practices for Azure DevOps organizations, projects, permissions, and branching strategies
- Collaborate with engineering, cloud, and security teams to integrate Azure services (e.g., Azure Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Key Vault, and monitoring)
- Troubleshoot and optimize pipeline performance, reliability, and deployment workflows; ensure compliance with organizational standards

Required Skills:

- Strong expertise in Azure DevOps Services (Repos, Boards, Pipelines, Artifacts, and overall DevOps lifecycle)
- Proficiency in Azure architecture and services (Azure compute/networking/storage; security and identity concepts)
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines using YAML, including multi-stage pipelines and release strategies
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep/ARM) and deployment automation
- Hands-on experience with security and governance (RBAC, service connections, secrets management, compliance)
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Ability to mentor teams and document architectures, standards, and implementation guidelines

Qualification:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
