Azure Local Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Missouri Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance or better Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure Local Infrastructure Engineer to support the installation, configuration, and deployment of Dell infrastructure solutions in a customer environment. This individual will be responsible for rack and stack activities, system setup, Azure Local implementation, and customer training/knowledge transfer.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Dell Storage Arrays, Dell PowerEdge Servers, virtualization infrastructure, and Azure Local environments. This role will play a critical part in helping the customer successfully deploy and manage a new hypervisor platform. Responsibilities • Perform rack and stack installation of Dell Storage Arrays and Dell PowerEdge Servers • Install, configure, and deploy Azure Local infrastructure solutions • Configure storage, compute, networking, and virtualization components • Support system integration, testing, and troubleshooting efforts • Work directly with customer stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and operational readiness • Provide hands-on training and knowledge transfer to customer administrators and technical staff • Assist with documentation, configuration standards, and operational procedures • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and infrastructure-related issues during implementation • Ensure systems are configured according to best practices and customer requirements Required Qualifications • Experience working with Dell Storage Arrays and Dell PowerEdge Servers • Hands-on experience with rack and stack deployments in enterprise environments • Experience installing and configuring Azure Local or similar hypervisor/platform technologies • Strong understanding of server, storage, networking, and virtualization infrastructure • Ability to train and support customer administrators on new platform management • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills • Active Secret Clearance preferred • Ability to work on-site in Missouri preferred Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure modernization efforts • Familiarity with hybrid cloud or Microsoft infrastructure environments • Previous customer-facing deployment or implementation experience • Experience creating technical documentation and operational procedures
