Bowen Scarff Ford in Kent is looking to add a PARTS DRIVER.
The Parts Driver drives company vehicles to pick up and deliver parts in the local area. He or she transports products from local parts sources and delivers them to our dealership. Most importantly and without exception, the Parts Driver operates within the legal speed limits and in a safe fashion at all times.


Responsibilities

  • Complies with and enforces all safety & security policies and procedures.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains safe and secure environment by following safety and security standards and procedures and complying with codes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Realizes that business is built on customer satisfaction and stays devoted to guaranteeing satisfaction to our customers.
  • Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and performs routine maintenance tasks.
  • Obeys posted speed limits at all times and all other rules of the road.
  • Deliver and pick up parts to various locations.
  • Build long-term relationships with the customers and vendors you deliver to.
  • Maintain a distribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries/pickups made.
  • Inspect, protect and maintain company assets, merchandise and vehicles.
  • Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, coworkers and vendors.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience as a parts delivery driver required.
  • A valid Washington driver's license and clean DMV driving record.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
  • Able to multi-task.
  • Able to safely operate motor vehicles including Transit Vans or Trucks in tight and small spaces.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Friendly with high energy and the willingness to go above and beyond.
  • Excellent client and customer satisfaction skills.
  • Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and team members.
  • Must have a high-energy personality.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic presence in a team environment.
  • Self-starter and self-motivator.
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
  • Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
  • Bilingual a PLUS!
  • Parts Department experience a PLUS!!
