Summary:

This candidate will perform one or more repetitive jobs along an assembly or sub-assembly line handling metal fabrications. This employee will use their hands, tools and machinery to assemble a variety of sports equipment and athletic products.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Operates within standard operations procedures (SOP’s)
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
  • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Turn off and lock equipment when not in use.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and ability to use a variety of hand and power tools to assemble aluminum, steel and stainless equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures while performing assembly tasks.
  • Ability to read and understand diagrams or blueprints.
  • Must be able to work overtime and/or weekend work as required to meet the needs of our customers.


Education

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). This is an entry-level position where the incumbent will receive on-the-job training.
