Description


The Commissary Production Worker is under the Commissary Manager's general direction. Production Workers are responsible for the mass production manufacturing of various goods in our assembly line. The responsibilities of Production Workers include feeding materials into machinery, assembling items, packaging or storing items, and various other tasks associated with assembly line production, all while ensuring the production process runs smoothly. They are also be tasked with performing basic quality checks, cleaning and maintaining production equipment, and adhering to health and safety regulations.


Essential Duties

  • Operate machinery to assist in the production process;
  • Assemble materials and equipment as required;
  • Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met;
  • Assist in the loading of raw materials to the production lines;
  • Transport raw materials from one place to another;
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met;
  • Conduct inspections and quality control of products;
  • Assist in lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as required.

Requirements

  • Self-driven and hard worker;
  • Prior production experience preferred, but not required;
  • Familiarity with production equipment and machinery;
  • Sharp attention to detail in favor of identifying defects;
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision;
  • Flexibility in work shifts, overtime and weekends as required;
  • Ability to stand for long hours at a time;
  • Ability to withstand hot temperatures in the production room;
  • Physically able to lift, carry and move up to 40lbs.
