About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll support both patient care and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Venipuncture and catheter placement
  • Administering vaccines and injectable medications
  • Patient restraint and nursing care
  • Bandage changes, ear cleanings, anal gland expression
  • Supporting and mentoring technicians and assistants
  • Helping implement and maintain standards of care
Schedule
  • Full-time: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
  • Rotating weekends (1-2 per month, with weekday hours adjusted)
  • Training across AM, PM, and mid shifts for full team support
What We're Looking For
  • Veterinary Technician (CVT preferred) or highly experienced assistant
  • Previous leadership or mentorship experience strongly preferred
  • Strong technical skills and confidence in patient care
  • Team-oriented mindset with a passion for growth and development
Compensation & Benefits
  • $25-$28/hour (based on experience)
