Weekend Option - Part-time and Full-time 12 hour Day and Night RN positions!

The Weekend Option Program is designed to support teamwork and provide the option for a Weekend RN position. Those working full-time will work one shift during the week and two shifts on the weekend; those working part-time will work two shifts on the weekend.  Weekend Option incentive pay will be given per program guidelines. Eligible candidates typically have a minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience.

About the job:

The Registered Nurse, within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. The Registered Nurse collaborates in the spirit of teamwork is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of Mount Carmel Health System.

  • Collaborates with patient and family to develop and implement a plan of care that includes physical, spiritual and educational components
  • Create a caring and healing environment that keeps the patient and family at the center of care
  • Work with state-of-the-art technology
  • Experience interdisciplinary relationships & collaboration
  • Have autonomy for decisions affecting professional practice
  • Promote evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism in nursing practice within the model of the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®

What we are looking for:

  • Graduate from school of nursing
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
  • Effective Communication Skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to plan, organize and manage patient care, including delegation to and supervision of other members of the patient care team
