Job description

We are currently seeking an Electrical Apprentice! You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation and repair of electrical equipment and fixtures
  • Assist in the installation various types of raceway and cable tray systems
  • Pull wire and conduit
  • Adhere to all quality and safety codes

​​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in electrical field preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
  • Must adhere to company policies, safe work practices, and work requirements
  • Must have own hand tools and toolbox (wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, wire cutter, etc.)
  • Must be able to work efficiently and neatly
  • Must be detail oriented

​​Education: High School Diploma or GED with preferred vocational or other technical school, certification, training or apprenticeship beyond high school.

Experience: 1-2 years electrical work experience.

Licenses, Certifications, or Registrations: Employee must have valid driver’s license if operating a company vehicle or their own vehicle for work purposes.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to repeatedly lift 90 pounds in order to load and unload wood and other materials as well as carry needed tools and materials to and from the jobsite
  • Standing for prolonged periods of time
  • Frequent bending and squatting
  • Ability to work on step ladders and extension ladders
