Job description

National Park College is seeking an experienced Part-Time Electrical Apprenticeship Instructor. The instructor will support the Electrical Apprenticeship Program by leading evening classes on the National Park College campus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide instruction to electrical apprenticeship students as required.
  • Commitment to apprentice success in the program.
  • Communicate regularly with Apprenticeship Coordinator on progress of students in the program.
  • Submit sign in sheets and other documents to Apprenticeship Coordinator in a timely manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Knowledge of subject matter being taught.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and problem solve effectively.

Education and Experience
  • Must hold at least a Journeyman's License.
  • Teaching or mentoring experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Long periods of sitting or standing.
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs.
  • Ability to work in the evenings.
