Position Summary

As an Maintenance Technician Apprenticeย you will work alongside our experienced Maintenance Team to learn how to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the equipment that keeps our car washes running at peak performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and learning about mechanical and electrical systems. No car wash experience is requiredโ€”we will provide training and development to help you build a long-term career with Big Dan's Car Wash.

You will travel between our Georgia locations with senior technicians, assisting with routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, and unexpected repairs while gaining valuable experience in:

  • Electrical systems
  • Mechanical systems
  • Hydraulics
  • Pneumatics
  • Plumbing
  • Wash equipment and chemistry
  • Building maintenance and repairs

You'll also work closely with our operations teams and develop relationships with site leadership while learning the importance of safety, teamwork, and exceptional workmanship.

What You'll Do
  • Assist experienced technicians with equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Learn how to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Help maintain wash quality and chemical systems.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders.
  • Travel to various locations to support maintenance needs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Participate in hands-on training and development opportunities.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Trade school, vocational training, or mechanical experience is a plus but not required.
  • Basic understanding of tools and mechanical systems preferred.
  • Desire to learn industrial maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Self-motivated and eager to grow professionally.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional nights, weekends, and on-call support.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, bend, stoop, stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
