Description

As a Carpenter Apprentice at Sid Grinker Restoration Inc., you will work alongside skilled carpenters to gain hands-on experience in the repair, restoration, and preservation of various properties. You will learn to perform essential carpentry tasks while adhering to high safety standards and time management expectations. This position is perfect for those who are eager to build a career in carpentry, especially in the restoration industry. 

Requirements

  • Assist in performing skilled carpentry tasks related to property repairs, including framing, trim work, cabinetry, and general carpentry restoration.
  • Learn and apply carpentry techniques in the repair and restoration of commercial and residential properties damaged by water, fire, and other disasters.
  • Support the restoration team in emergency on-call situations, following safety protocols and working efficiently to ensure projects are completed on time and to high standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure tools and materials are properly stored.
  • Gain exposure to various restoration processes and techniques, under the supervision of senior carpenters.
  • Contribute to maintaining a high level of craftsmanship in all completed projects.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong interest in carpentry and restoration work.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from experienced carpenters.
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive work ethic.
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
