We are seeking a motivated software developer to support the ongoing development, modernization and sustainment of mission-critical applications supporting the Intelligence Community. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced engineering team. The ideal candidate is a mid-to senior-level candidate who has strong experience with Java and C++ development, enjoys solving complex technical challenges and is comfortable working across both modernized and legacy environments. Position Requirements 2โ€“10 years of experience to help design, maintain, and support a mission-critical application. The ideal candidate brings drive, adaptability, and collaboration to a team delivering innovative software solutions for the Intelligence Community. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field Strong software development experience in Java and C++ required, with additional experience in Python preferred Experience building, deploying, and maintaining production software systems Proficient with Linux/Unix (Rocky, RHEL, or similar) Knowledge of version control using Git Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills Active TS clearance required, TS/SCI Preferred Bonus Points Programming & Development Familiarity with software testing, debugging, and performance tuning in complex multi-language environments Experience analyzing existing systems, understanding dependencies, and implementing changes with minimal disruption to ongoing operations Architecture & Modernization Experience improving legacy applications through containerization, modular design and interface refinement with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and reduced technical debt Strong understanding of vertical and horizontal scaling Security & Compliance Applied security best practices and compliance requirements Job Duties Join a small, experienced team responsible for sustainment, feature development and ongoing modernization of mission-critical software and services Design, develop, and deploy core application used throughout the community Help provide tier 1 and tier 2 support to geographically disperse customers Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery
