If you answered yes, the Town of Mansfield has the perfect job for you! We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Weekend/Evening Supervisor to work in our Parks and Recreation Department in the Mansfield Community Center.
The Opportunity
The Town of Mansfield is currently seeking applications for the position of Part-Time Weekend/Evening Supervisor (Manager on Duty - MOD) with the Parks and Recreation Department. This position involves a variety of managerial and supervisory functions.
Total Compensation
The position is a part-time, non-benefitted position with the Town of Mansfield. The hourly rate for this position is from $21.07 - $22.35 per hour. This position is scheduled to work between 7-14 hours (1-2 shifts) per month but may be eligible to work additional hours as needed. Hours will include evening, weekend, and/or holiday work. On ocassion day time hours may be available.
What You Bring
The Town of Mansfield is seeking individuals with any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited community college with an associate's degree and major course work in parks and recreation, hospitality, business or related field, with some responsible supervisory and faculty/office management experience.
About the Position
This position is responsible for enforcing faculty policies, rules, and regulations; directing and supervising the work of faculty staff; performing reception related duties including, but not limited to, processing registrations; providing tours to prospective members; and responding to the needs of members and guests.
About the Department
The Parks & Recreation Department employs approximately 10 full time employees and approximately 250 part time employees. This department is a shared services department that supports multiple organizations across the Town of Mansfield, including the Mansfield Board of Education, the Region 19 School District, the Mansfield Downtown Partnership, the Eastern Highlands Health District, the Mansfield Discovery Depot, and of course the Town of Mansfield.
