Located: Valentine NE

Job Title: Ambulance Driver

Shift: PRN

Base Pay: Starts at $15.86 per hour, with higher pay based on experience.

On-Call: Must be available to respond to 9-1-1 calls when paged; paid $2.00 per hour while on call.

Call-Back Pay: Time and a half when called in, with a minimum of one hour of pay.


Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Ambulance Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of patients to medical facilities while supporting medical personnel in delivering high-quality care. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, strong situational awareness, and a commitment to patient safety.


Key Responsibilities
  • Operate ambulance vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with all traffic laws and regulationsย 
  • Transport patients to healthcare facilities while assisting with basic life support as neededย 
  • Collaborate with EMTs and other medical personnel to support patient care during transportย 
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with healthcare professionals and dispatchย 
  • Accurately document patient transport activities and related informationย 
  • Ensure ambulance vehicles, equipment, and supplies are clean, organized, and in proper working conditionย 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an ambulance driver or in a healthcare settingย 
  • CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationย
