Job description

Join Our Team as Waiver Support Staff!

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide personalized assistance and support to individuals in a home or community-based setting. As part of our team, you will help clients maintain independence, enhance quality of life, and stay engaged with their community.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide assistance to individuals in a home or community-based setting

  2. Assist with daily living activities, including:

    • Meal preparation

    • Medication reminders

    • Personal care

  3. Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals to community events and providing transportation as needed

  4. Support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff

  5. Share any useful information regarding clients with Supervisor — all communication regarding client progress must first be discussed with the Program Coordinator prior to speaking with parents/guardians

  6. Submit all required paperwork, including timesheets, in a timely, thorough, and accurate manner

  7. Perform other duties as assigned to support program and client needs

Work Schedule:
We offer flexible scheduling options to fit your availability, including:

  • 4-hour, 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts

  • Weekends as needed or weekends only

  • Holidays

  • Opportunities for overtime

Qualifications:

  • Must be compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to supporting individuals with their daily needs

  • Previous experience in direct care, home care, or related field is preferred but not required — training provided

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
