Position Overview

AccuWeather is seeking a Manager of Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning to join its growing HR team. This role leads the full-cycle recruiting function and early-career talent strategy, ensuring the organization attracts and hires diverse, high-quality candidates that align with AccuWeather's culture and business goals. The Manager will serve as a key partner to hiring leaders across the organization and will play a central role in building a robust talent pipeline for the future.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive recruiting strategy to attract diverse, high-quality candidates across all functions
  • Partner with leadership to forecast workforce needs and build proactive talent pipelines
  • Oversee employer branding initiatives to position AccuWeather as an employer of choice
  • Optimize recruiting processes, ATS workflow and automation, reporting, and metrics including time-to-fill and quality of hire
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the full hiring lifecycle
  • Manage and continuously improve employee onboarding programming through the first 90 days

Internship & Early Career Program Development

  • Design and manage a structured internship and early-career talent program aligned with business needs
  • Build and maintain partnerships with universities, colleges, and professional organizations to create a strong talent pipeline
  • Establish program goals, curricula, and meaningful project-based experiences for interns
  • Create and manage clear pathways from internship participation to full-time employment
  • Measure program success through conversion rates, performance outcomes, and participant feedback
  • Promote AccuWeather's brand on campuses and within early-career networks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 5-8+ years of progressive HR or talent acquisition experience, including team or program leadership
  • Proven expertise in full-cycle recruiting, workforce planning, and employer branding
  • Experience designing and managing internship or early-career programs
  • Proficiency with HRIS and applicant tracking systems; comfort with talent analytics
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
