  • Weekly Pay!!
  • Must have a valid driver's license for at least one year
  • Must have open availability to be able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnights, holidays, and weekends - the schedule rotates monthly
  • MUST have exceptional computer skills and be able to multi-task
  • Dispatch officers answer department business and emergency telephones, monitor department radio traffic and dispatch appropriate personnel to respond to routine and emergency requests. Responsibilities will also include making necessary notifications to various internal and external departments and agencies, requesting additional outside resources as directed by the shift supervisor, monitoring CCTV's and reporting any discrepancies or suspicious activity that may be observed, monitoring automated access control systems for discrepancies, monitoring intrusion and fire alarm systems and performing additional clerical responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
  • Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
  • Able to:
    • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
    • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
    • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
    • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
    • Dispatch officers answer department business and emergency telephones, monitor department radio traffic and dispatch appropriate personnel to respond to routine and emergency requests. Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
    *A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only
