First-timers accepted: Yes Weekend REQ: Every Sunday Night Shift or every Friday Night Shift or Every other Friday Night Shift Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No Certs REQ: MANDT patient restraint certification required, provided at Crittenton if not currently certified. Trauma Informed Care Training and Zero Suicide Training required, provided at site. BLS. Missouri Children's Division BG Check required. Skills Preferred: Treatment settings: Child/Adolescents, Eating Disorders, Forensic, Geriatric, Inpatient, Locked Unit, Medical/Psych, Outpatient, Residential/Group Home, Substance use/Chemical Dependency. Care of the Patient With: Anxiety disorders, Assault/violence, Bipolar Disorders, Congenital/Developmental Disorders, Degenerative disorders (Alzheimer's, ALS, Parkinson's), Depressive disorders, Eating Disorders, Personality disorders, Post-traumatic stress disorder, Profound impulse control issues, Psychotic Disorders, Schizophrenia-spectrum disorders, Self-injurious behavior, Severe intellectual disabilities, Substance use, Suicidal behavior, Trauma-and Stressor-Related Disorders. Emergency care: Cardiac arrest / CPR, Emergent chemical restraints, Physical Hold Protocols. Legal Aspects: Use of seclusion, Voluntary /involuntary commitment. Medications/Methods of delivery: Antianxiety, Antidepressant, Antipsychotic, Medication Administration (PO, RECTAL, IM, IV, SC, etc), Mood stabilizer, Sedatives/Analgesics, Starting and maintaining IVs. Professional knowledge/skills: Blood glucose monitoring, Interpretation & communication of lab values, Seclusion protocols/procedures. Therapeutic Approaches/Treatment Modalities: Behavior management techniques, Crisis Intervention, De-escalation techniques, Managing Assaultive Behavior, Psychoeducation. Is on-call REQ? No Open to accommodating block schedule? No Locals accepted: No, home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility Pending License accepted: No RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. The cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the Contractor Personnel is assigned Special Requirements: Crittenton has 4 units of patients staffed with 1 RN per unit and Behavioral Health Techs staffed in ratio with patients per physician order; 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, or 1:4. RNs cover 8-12 patients supporting medication passes and guiding overall unit, with Techs directly observing and documenting on patients.
