ProSidian seeks an Analytics Consulting Lead (Data Management & Business Intelligence) – Analytics Consulting & Business Needs Analysis (NSF0130130). The role is based in the Mid‑Atlantic Region (Alexandria, VA) and supports Human Capital analytics and IT modernization for federal agencies, including the National Science Foundation (NSF).

We are looking for candidates with relevant government and public‑services sector experience, functional and technical area expertise, to support professional services engagements for clients such as NSF.

Job Overview
  • Deliver innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency through digital transformation and process automation;
  • Enhance data‑driven decision‑making using role‑based advanced analytics and business intelligence;
  • Support regulatory compliance and adherence to federal human‑capital management policies;
  • Facilitate seamless integration of IT systems and workforce‑planning tools;
  • Optimize service delivery through performance‑based outcomes and SLAs.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct systematic analysis of business needs across NSF divisions and directorates, including stakeholder interviews and process mapping;
  • Translate needs into flexible, role‑based analytical solutions (dashboards, reports, data products) to support executive, managerial, and operational decision‑making;
  • Advise on prioritization of analytics initiatives, change management, and user adoption to ensure sustained capability use;
  • Define the need, shape the solution, and enable data‑driven decisions through stakeholder engagement and analytics strategy;
  • Coordinate stakeholders and deliver technical or functional outputs required for compliant, scalable, and measurable mission support.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of analytics consulting experience in a federal environment;
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Analytics, Business, or Data Science;
  • Skilled in business analysis, analytics strategy, stakeholder engagement, critical thinking, communication, facilitation, and project‑management methodologies;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), Adobe Acrobat, data‑analytic tools, Visio, and the ability to learn additional tools quickly;
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, time‑management, prioritization, and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail;
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for effective team management;
  • U.S. citizenship required. No visa sponsorship.
  • Background and drug testing required.
