Position: Reassembly Technician

Hours: 6:00 AM 5:00 PM (M-Th)

Position Summary

The Reassembly Technician plays a critical role in delivering safe, complete, and high-quality repairs by restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition in accordance with OEM repair procedures. This position is responsible for final assembly, ADAS calibrations, system functionality checks, and quality control inspections to ensure vehicles are ready for delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition while meeting OEM repair requirements and company quality standards.
  • Install and align body panels, trim, moldings, lamps, glass, and interior components.
  • Fit replacement sheet metal and other new parts, ensuring proper gaps, flushness, and appearance.
  • Install mechanical components including radiators, condensers, cooling modules, suspension components, and related assemblies as needed.
  • Perform static and dynamic ADAS calibrations utilizing company-provided equipment and OEM procedures.
  • Complete post-repair scans and review scan results for completeness and accuracy.
  • Conduct system function checks to verify proper operation of safety systems, driver assistance features, HVAC systems, lighting, infotainment systems, and other vehicle functions.
  • Perform road tests when appropriate to confirm vehicle performance and identify concerns prior to delivery.
  • Complete quality control inspections and communicate any deficiencies requiring correction.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Cross-train and assist other departments as workflow permits.

Qualifications

  • Previous collision repair, automotive mechanical, or assembly experience preferred.
  • Experience with vehicle electronics, scanning, and ADAS calibrations is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift, squat, kneel, bend, and safely handle parts weighing more than 50 pounds.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to producing safe, high-quality repairs.
