About this Position

Responsible for feed and care of university and client owned animals.
Responsible for general maintenance of buildings and equipment.
Experience in equine husbandry, welding, carpentry, and mechanical maintenance.
Familiarity with farming practices, equipment operations, equipment repair, basic research practices in agricultural, horticulture or natural resources management.

Required Qualifications
  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Three years of work experience.
    OR
    Two years of post-secondary education and one year of related work experience.

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

  • Valid driver's license.

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

  • Experience in equine husbandry, welding, carpentry, and mechanical maintenance. Familiarity with farming practices, equipment operations, equipment repair, basic research practices in agricultural, horticulture or natural resources management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Five years related work experience. Two years of college or technical training.
