WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The 3D Designer, Experiential is responsible for bringing ideas to life through spatial visualization, modeling, and rendering. You will create compelling 3D environments that communicate design intent across branded spaces, venues, and immersive experiences.
This is not a pure visualization role-you must understand how spaces are designed, built, and experienced.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
3D Visualization & Rendering
  • Create high-quality 3D models and photorealistic renderings of experiential environments
  • Translate sketches, CAD drawings, and concepts into compelling visualizations
  • Produce still renders, walkthroughs, and visual storytelling assets

Spatial Design Support
  • Model environments including architecture, interiors, signage, and scenic elements
  • Consider scale, lighting, materials, and user experience in all visualizations
  • Support design teams in iterating concepts quickly through 3D

Concept Development
  • Collaborate with designers and creative leads to explore ideas in 3D early in the process
  • Contribute to design ideation through rapid prototyping and visualization

Production Awareness
  • Incorporate real-world constraints (materials, fabrication, installation) into models
  • Prepare files and assets for downstream production and documentation

Collaboration
  • Work closely with experiential designers, architects, and production teams
  • Support client presentations with high-quality visuals and animations

QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
  • 2-5 years in 3D design, experiential design, environmental design, or related field
  • Portfolio demonstrating spatial environments, not just objects or products

Technical Skills
  • Expert in 3D modeling tools (SketchUp, Rhino, Blender, 3ds Max, or similar)
  • Rendering proficiency (V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, Twinmotion, or Unreal)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Understanding of lighting, materials, and composition

Spatial & Design Thinking
  • Understanding of architecture, interiors, or environmental design principles
  • Ability to visualize how people move through and experience space
  • Strong attention to detail and visual storytelling

NICE-TO-HAVE
  • Experience with Unreal Engine / real-time environments
  • Motion/animation for walkthroughs
  • Familiarity with fabrication workflows or scenic production
  • Experience in sports, entertainment, or branded environments

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, Environmental Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or related field

WORKPLACE
  • Location: Nashville, TN
  • Travel: As needed (~20-30%)
