Job description

At Chick-fil-A, the Dining Room Host role is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to create a warm, clean and cared-for environment for every guest. This part-time position offers consistent weekday lunch hours and may be a strong fit for parents, caregivers, retirees or anyone seeking meaningful work during the school day. Dining Room Hosts help ensure every guest receives signature Chick-fil-A service throughout their visit.


Position Type:

Part-time

Monday-Friday

11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Approximately 15 hours per week

Preference is given to candidates available all five weekdays, but strong candidates with consistent school-day availability are encouraged to apply

Dining Room Host Responsibilities:

Welcome guests with a smile, eye contact and enthusiastic communication

Create meaningful connections and help guests feel genuinely cared for

Check on guests and anticipate their needs throughout their visit

Clear trays, clean tables and reset seating areas promptly

Offer drink refills and other 2nd mile hospitality

Keep the condiment stand clean, organized and fully stocked

Monitor restrooms, floors, trash areas and other dining room spaces

Support mobile dine-in orders and Front of House operations as needed

Maintain a clean, safe and inviting dining room throughout the lunch rush

Communicate guest concerns, safety hazards and supply needs to leadership

Remain active, attentive and present in the assigned position

Work independently while supporting the larger Front of House team

Follow Chick-fil-A rules, food-safety practices and dress-code standards

Complete other related duties as assigned
