Security Officer Patrol Documentation Specialist

As a Security Officer Patrol Documentation Specialist in Jamaica, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government location serving veterans, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

Pay Rate: $18.02 / Hour

Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
  • Communicate professionally with facility personnel and public service agencies as needed while supporting a respectful environment for veterans and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
