Position Description & Requirements
WEEKDAY REGIONAL BREAST IMAGING RADIOLOGIST

Hybrid Practice | Build a New Regional Program | Southeast Flexibility

Radiology Partners Palmetto | Georgia, Florida & South Carolina

Radiology Partners Palmetto is redefining how subspecialty radiologists practice. Created as a physician-led regional practice, Palmetto was built to provide flexible, high-quality specialty coverage across the Southeast while giving physicians greater autonomy, schedule flexibility, and long-term career opportunities.

We are seeking a Weekday Breast Imaging Radiologist to join our growing regional team. This unique hybrid position combines onsite breast imaging with remote diagnostic reading, allowing physicians to maintain a rewarding procedural breast practice while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

A Different Kind of Breast Imaging Career

This isn't a traditional breast imaging position tied to a single hospital or imaging center.

Instead, you'll become part of a regional physician team providing breast imaging expertise where it's needed most-while maintaining the flexibility to work remotely when you're not performing onsite procedures.

Regional deployment is thoughtfully planned in advance with physician input, allowing for predictability while supporting practices across the Southeast.

If you're looking for variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to help build something new, Palmetto offers a career unlike traditional private practice or teleradiology.

Why This Role Stands Out

Hybrid Practice - Onsite Breast Imaging + Remote Diagnostic Reading
Regional Practice Supporting Multiple Markets
Flexible Scheduling Designed Around Physician Preferences
Partnership Opportunity
Opportunity to Help Build a New Physician-Led Regional Practice
H-1B Visa Sponsorship Available for Qualified Candidates
Fellows and Residents Encouraged to Apply

The Opportunity

Responsibilities include:
  • Screening and diagnostic mammography
  • Breast ultrasound
  • Image-guided breast procedures
  • Breast MRI interpretation
  • Remote diagnostic radiology when not onsite
  • No evenings/weekends
  • Regional deployment based on practice needs and physician preferences

Designed Around Flexibility

Palmetto offers:
Hybrid onsite and remote practice
Flexible scheduling options
Regional deployment with advance scheduling
Opportunity to support multiple physician groups across the Southeast
Variety without sacrificing stability or continuity
