Job Description:

A confidential, well-established public accounting firm is seeking a caring and dedicated CPA or Enrolled Agent to join its team as a Tax Specialist. This fully remote position is ideal for a tax professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about providing value and creative solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Design and implement tax strategies for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
  • Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
  • Prepare and review financial statements.
  • Represent clients in communications with the IRS.
  • Lead and support a remote team of tax preparers.
Candidate Profile:
Successful candidates will be team-oriented professionals who enjoy helping others succeed, meet deadlines reliably, prioritize workflow effectively during busy periods, and approach problem-solving creatively and efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
  • CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation.
  • 3–5 years of tax and public accounting experience.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO) or QuickBooks Desktop.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with CCH Axcess.
  • An appreciation for good music.
Additional Information:
This position requires a minimum of 55-hour work weeks for approximately 10 weeks during tax season (February through April).
