Pre-Anesthesia Testing Nurse Practitioner- PRN

The successful candidate:

***PRN Role***

Advanced Practice Nurses (APRN) are registered nurses who have acquired the formal education, extended knowledge base and clinical skills to practice in an advanced role as a credentialed member of the medical staff and direct health care provider.  Nurse Practitioners are authorized to practice by the State Board of Nursing in the state of practice via their advanced practice education, licensure, board certification in a specialty area and other additional skills for which they have been prepared through post-graduate education and training.  The APRN serves as a leader and role model for professional development of peers and others. The APRN will work collaboratively with other health care professionals.  

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: Minimum 2 years as ANP or commensurate training/experience

Education: Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN), Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Licensure: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Arizona

Certification: American Heart Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support needed for ACNP

Special Skills: Proficient computer skills
