Job Summary:
Brown Technologies Incorporated is a rapidly growing company known for supporting complex development programs. They are seeking an Application Systems Engineer with hands-on experience in IBM TRIRIGA and Maximo MREF to provide operational support, system configuration, and user assistance during the migration of NASA's systems.
Responsibilities:
• Provide full sustainment, configuration management, issue resolution, and operational support for existing MSFC and HQ TRIRIGA environments through migration completion, production cutover, and acceptance of MREF in the OSI MAS environment.
• Support parallel operations between MSFC TRIRIGA and OSI MAS as required during migration and transition phases.
• Maintain stable system performance and service levels without disruption during the migration lifecycle.
• Monitor system performance and escalate infrastructure or integration issues that arise during dual-environment operations.
• Validate the accuracy and completeness of standard and custom reports following migration activities.
• Provide daily application administration for MREF operational requirements, including Construction of Facilities (CoF), Facility Condition Assessment (FCA) data, and other OSI mission needs.
• Perform system configuration, workflow updates, role-based access management, and implementation of approved enhancements.
• Deliver ongoing system sustainment, issue resolution, configuration management, and O&M support across TRIRIGA and MAS environments.
• Execute migration-related configuration activities under architectural direction, including data validation and system alignment tasks.
• Support tracking of software license utilization and assist with documenting updates, renewals, and procurement needs.
• Test system changes and support patching, upgrades, and new feature deployments across development, test, staging, and production environments.
• Maintain and update reporting capabilities to meet evolving operational, analytical, and compliance requirements.
• Develop and update training materials; conduct user training sessions when system updates require engagement.
• Document system configurations, operating procedures, workflows, work instructions, and technical processes for continuity and audit readiness.
• Provide technical assistance to end users regarding application functionality, workflows, and data interactions.
• Support troubleshooting involving application/server interactions, database functions, and integration layer operations.
• Validate successful execution of server patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities impacting application performance.
Qualifications:
Required:
• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Facility/Asset Management, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of systems engineering or enterprise application support experience, including TRIRIGA, MREF, or Maximo/MAS
• Strong hands-on experience administering TRIRIGA, MREF or Maximo/MAS, including configuration, workflow management, and system troubleshooting
• Experience supporting multi-environment operations, including development/test/staging/production architectures
• Proficiency in diagnosing application, database, and integration layer issues
• Ability to validate data integrity, perform quality checks, and support reporting enhancements
• Experience supporting upgrades, patches, and change deployments in enterprise environments
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills and the ability to support end users and collaborate with technical teams
• High attention to detail and commitment to operational reliability
Preferred:
• Experience with IBM MAS MREF or TRIRIGA-to-MREF migrations
• Familiarity with NASA-specific facilities operations (CoF, FCA workflows)
• Experience with SQL, reporting tools (Cognos, BIRT, Power BI), or ETL processes
• Experience supporting large-scale federal facilities, asset management, or real estate management programs
• Knowledge of federal cybersecurity, compliance, and IT governance standards (e.g., NIST/FISMA)
