Job description

100% Local | Home Every Single Day | 100% No-Touch Freight

Looking for a reliable local CDL-A driving job where you actually get to sleep in your own bed after every shift? We're hiring dedicated drivers for our Salt Lake City intermodal fleet. If you want steady hours across the regional metro area without sacrificing your daily home time, this is a great fit.

This isn't an over-the-road gig where you're gone for weeks. You'll handle local container transport and regional drop-freight loops, giving you consistent work while keeping your home routine intact.

Highlights of the position

Earnings: $15.00/hour base pay plus $12.50 per stop (Averages around $24.50 per load with 2 stops per load; drivers average $1,300 to $1,700 gross per week).

The Work: 100% no-touch freight. A mix of container transport, live loads/unloads, preloads, and drop-and-hook operations.

Schedule: Day and night shifts available (running Sun–Thu or Tue–Sat). Expect 55 to 70 hours per week (10–12 hours per shift). Weekend work is standard, but holiday dispatches are optional. Clock out and go home every single day.

The Route: Regional drop-freight loops within a 150-mile radius, servicing hubs like Grantsville, Ogden, and Bear River City.

Benefits: Full corporate package including health, dental, and vision insurance options, paid time off, and 401(k) with company match kicking in after 60 days.

What You Need to Apply

Location: Must live within 25 miles of the dispatch yard (Zip: 84104).

Experience: First Seat solo drivers only (no trainees or team drivers). Requires a firm minimum of 3+ months of verifiable Class A experience.

Licensing: Valid Class A CDL and current DOT Medical Card (Hazmat preferred, but not strictly required).

Background & Screening: Solid driving record, clean work history, and must pass a mandatory drug screen.

Note: Company drivers only; owner-operators are not accepted.

Apply right now to lock in your local position and preferred shift! Our team will reach out to you within 24 hours to discuss your application.
