Job description

job Overview

We are currently seeking a Risk Management Administrative Assistant to support a fast-paced Food Safety / Quality Assurance (QC/QA) team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an office environment while supporting compliance and risk management processes.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish), computer savvy, and able to work effectively with multiple departments while maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Job Duties

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

✅ Collecting and organizing incoming documentation and reports (COAs)
✅ Processing outgoing documentation per customer requests
✅ Assisting leadership with internal and customer requests
✅ Updating, organizing, and maintaining files, forms, and SOPs
✅ Processing ingredient statements and nutritional information
✅ Maintaining supplier and ingredient records
✅ Supporting compliance and risk management projects
✅ Assisting with training coordination and administrative support
✅ Providing backup support to the Risk Management team as needed

Qualifications

✔ High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
✔ Strong organizational and administrative skills
✔ High attention to detail
✔ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
✔ Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments
Spanish fluency required
✔ Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
✔ 0–1 year of experience welcome to apply

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, and lift up to 5 lbs as needed
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Basic computer and typing skills required
• Slip-resistant shoes required
• Open availability for schedule changes and overtime during peak seasons may be required
