Job description

Description
Join the Twinkle Toes Nanny Agency team and make a meaningful difference in a child's day! We're looking for warm, dependable, and engaging nannies who enjoy helping school-age children transition from the school day into a fun and structured afternoon.
As a Part-Time Weekday Nanny, you'll assist with school pick-up, supervise homework, plan age-appropriate activities, encourage outdoor play, and help create a positive, relaxed environment until parents return home. Every family is unique, giving you the opportunity to build lasting relationships while supporting children's growth and confidence.
Most positions offer 15-20 hours per week with schedules that fit around the school day. We provide competitive hourly pay with weekly direct deposit, an easy-to-use online scheduling system, and opportunities to pick up additional evening or weekend shifts if you'd like extra hours.
We're looking for caregivers who are reliable, patient, and genuinely enjoy working with children. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a minimum of three years of non-relative childcare experience (such as nannying, daycare, preschool, camps, or church childcare).
If you're ready to join a supportive agency that values its nannies and connects you with wonderful local families, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
• Create a nurturing and safe environment for children, ensuring their well-being and happiness during your care.
• Assist with homework and school projects, fostering a positive learning atmosphere that encourages curiosity and growth.
• Plan and lead engaging activities that stimulate creativity and imagination, tailored to each child's interests and needs.
• Establish and maintain consistent routines that promote relaxation and confidence, helping children transition smoothly from school to home.
• Communicate openly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns, building trust and collaboration.
• Prepare healthy snacks and meals as needed, ensuring children receive balanced nutrition throughout the day.
• Manage time effectively to balance multiple tasks, ensuring each child receives personalized attention and care.
Qualifications
Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Minimum 3 years of professional or personal childcare experience (daycare, camps, nannying, babysitting, church nursery, tutoring, etc.)
• Two childcare-related references from non-relatives
• Willingness to obtain CPR certification if not already certified
• Reliable vehicle that remains with you during your shift
• Clean background and ability to commit for at least one year
• A true love for children and dedication to their growth and well-being
We are looking for long-term nannies who will become a trusted part of their child's early years. If you are dependable, caring, and excited about building a lasting bond, we'd love to hear from you.
