Abortion Care: At PPRM, we all work in abortion care. This role supports abortion care through direct clinical triage, patient education, and follow-up, ensuring timely and empathetic support to those navigating abortion services.

Union: This role is represented by SEIU, Local 105 and is governed by the terms of a collective bargaining agreement.

Paid Training: To give you the best training possible in the shortest amount of time you may need to travel to Denver for 2-4 weeks during the first 1 to 2 months of employment.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 2 years of advanced practice clinical experience in women’s health and/or reproductive medicine.
  • Must have completed an NP or CNM educational program that is certified as an NP or CNM by a national certification organization.
  • Meets state licensing requirements and holds an active state license with prescriptive authority (full prescriptive authority required in Colorado).
  • Holds or is willing to obtain DEA certification.
  • Eligible for credentialing with Medicaid and other payors (no restrictions).
  • Completes in‑house ultrasound training within 1 year if practicing.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide comprehensive physical exams with a focus on reproductive health for all genders.
  • Comprehensive onboarding program including in-house training on first trimester ultrasound and gender affirming care.
  • Perform cancer screenings, diagnose/treat STIs, and complete advanced clinical procedures.
  • Deliver contraceptive counseling, education, and method provision.
  • Participate in abortion care through counseling, referrals, scheduling, and/or direct provision.
  • Provide patient‑centered, trauma‑informed care, including medication abortion and gender‑affirming care, following all laws and PPRM Medical Standards & Guidelines.
  • Partner with patients, care teams, and community agencies to support holistic care.
  • Advance access to reproductive healthcare while achieving quality and performance goals as a clinical leader.


Starting Pay: $51.23–$67.16/hour (includes $2/hour travel differential) (based on experience in reproductive/sexual healthcare or with PPRM)
Additional Pay:

  • +$2.25/hour for Spanish fluency (upon passing test)
  • Relocation Bonus: out-of-state moves: $6,000 / In-state moves if living at least a 2.5-hour distance from the new work location: $3,000
Schedule: Flexible schedules are available. Ideal candidates can work weekdays, evenings, and weekends as needed to meet business demands.
Travel Details: This role may travel within 65 miles of Denver preferred locations of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountain (PPRM) affiliate. Preferred candidate to live in the New Mexico central area.
