In this role, you will prepare routine gross tissue specimens for microscopic examination by pathologists, handling cases from surgical procedures, autopsies, research studies, and external sources. Pay: $65,364 - $88,322
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate instrumentation for tissue dehydration, clearing, paraffin impregnation, section cutting, and slide staining.
  • Prepare solutions, stains, and reagents following established standard procedures.
  • Ensure all histology lab equipment is maintained in optimal condition, including cleanliness and the sharpening and honing of microtome knives.
