Location :Everett or Auburn or Renton, WA

Primary Responsibilities
  • Plans and leads teams that support implementation of strategic business initiatives and manufacturing and tooling enhancements.
  • Analyzes new technologies, concepts, and processes that simplify and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Supports benchmarking of industry to determine best practices.
  • Leads integration of major, complex suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
  • Participates in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
  • Develops unique and innovative tooling requirements in alignment with strategic initiatives.
  • Establishes processes for managing tooling from initial design to end-of-use disposition.
  • Leads investigations of critical manufacturing-related issues.
  • Develops and implements solutions involving a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supports benchmarking of advanced applications and methodologies to support producibility improvements.
  • Researches and develops unique and innovative manufacturing concepts.
  • Influences the design to ensure efficient manufacturing and optimum value.
  • Presents business case/trade study recommendations to leadership for review.
  • Leads development of complex work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.
  • Performs high-level analysis of schedule and work statement processes to identify and mitigate manufacturing risks.
  • Researches, develops, and implements new manufacturing processes to support long-range goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Works under consultative direction.

Basic Qualifications
  • 1 or more years' experience in a manufacturing production environment.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Manufacturing Engineering Planning systems such as Product Data Manager (PDM) and Computer Aided Process Planning (CAPP).

Education / Experience
AA degree in a related discipline and typically 9 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
