Job Description

Position: WebSphere Administrator

Location: Georgetown, KY 

Duration: 6 Months

Job Description: 

Team member must have 6+ years' experience working with Websphere and Weblogic application server and protal deployments including creation and configuration of portal schema. 

This includes being able to do technical documentation, deployment and back out instructions, working with customers through Weblogic installations and troubleshooting, performance testing and troubleshooting 

Installation configuration and administration of WebSphere Application Server. 

Installation, configuration and administration of IBM HTTP Server. 

Hand-on experience on configuration of Virtual Host. 

Setting up SSL on IHS, OHS and apache webservers. 

Good knowledge on configuration of WebSphere portlets. 

Good understanding of JMS configuration. 

Deploy, troubleshoot the issues encountered during. 

Hand on experience on upgrading / migration from v6.x to 7.x /8.x Websphere Portal. 

Good understanding of Websphere Node/Cluster communication. 

Level 2 and Level 3 support. 

Good understanding of WebSphere error handling.
